I'm happy to offer personal illustration commissions for individuals and businesses!
Personal portraits and illustrations start at $300 and are typically delivered in about 4 weeks.
All illustration commissions include a high-quality, archival print sized to your choice up to 16x20".
Please check out the FAQs below then send me a note with the details of your request. I'll follow up with availability, timing and pricing.
Here are some of the questions I'm most frequently asked:
How does this work, exactly?
After I receive your initial request, I'll follow up via email to ask for reference photos and your ideas for the illustration. From there, I'll determine the cost and timeline. This will always include up to two rounds of revisions, a print sized to your choosing up to 20x24", and the digital file for use on your website, social media, etc.
You can send me an exact picture that you love and I can replicate it, or you can send me a few inspiration photos and I can combine them into one illustration.
I'd like to give an illustration as a gift. Can you rush my order?
Sometimes! It depends on what else I have in the pipeline--I'll never push out another client's deadline to meet a rush request, but sometimes I have more availability than others. Send me a note and we'll figure it out.
How do you determine pricing for each illustration?
The cost depends on the number of subjects, complexity of the composition, and whether you'd like me to work from an exact photo or create something fun from multiple reference photos (like my supermama in the gallery above!) Usage is also a factor: pricing for business use is higher than for personal illustrations.
How do I pay you?
I require a 50% deposit to start, payable online via an invoice I'll send you. The balance is due upon completion before shipping your print.
Can you do my dog/cat/ferret?
Sure! I love pet illustrations.
Can I tell you about my idea over the phone?
I strongly prefer email communication whenever possible! I'm a working mama and work hard to focus on creating during my baby-free hours. If your request is particularly complicated or you're a business looking to think through options for working together, I'm definitely open to chatting.
